I know that I said that I would pick just three finalist partnerships, but after viewing them again, I would have to say that it is just too hard to pick. Our students all did a great job. The final six are posted under the activities page. Way to go! Let's remember to be kind to each other and be willing to be an "upstander" instead of a bystander.
* Sea and Sage: Thursday, October 30th * The Walk Through California event will be at our school in the MPR. We had a great time supporting our school through participation in the jogathon.
Way to go room 54! Check out our activities page for more pictures and videos. Science partnerships have been formed and presentations will begin next week. Class time has been allocated for collaborating, but students are expected to practice outside of class, as well. Remember to review your worksheets that were given to you. I am looking forward to your exciting, powerful presentations. Please leave a comment as to what you will be presenting. No-ka-oi!
What is the most important lesson you have learned?
We won for the most percentage in PTA membership for the first week. Thank you so much for your continued support. I really enjoyed my Starbucks caramel frapuccino this morning. If we win for the entire contest time, we will get a movie and popcorn for our class.
It's our lucky day! We happened to have some impish, miniature, green visitors in our classroom and I am not talking about the students in room 54! I am so excited! Our class has extremely talented artists. We worked hard on our posters and it shows! Thank you for the pictures, Mrs. Vega. We also appreciate all of the parents who chaperoned on this field trip. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Kapic, Mrs. Medina, and Mrs. Fernandez for sharing some of their favorite Dr. Seuss books with us. This is one of the many reasons why I love teaching third grade! These students are really thinking!
